ADVANTAGES OF HOT POTATOES EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE.

  1. Hot Potatoes has the facility to accommodate course contents' notes with an excellent standard.
  2. Hot Potatoes has a lot of variety with types of questions -Examples can be JCROSS for crossword puzzles, JMIX, JCLOZE for filling the blanks and JMATCH.
  3. Hotpotatoes has facilities to have links between assessment files and match them under a single folder file for topic being assessed (Masher Unit)
  4. The software reflects much  professionalism and is intended even for very mature learners.
  5. The software can deal with complex chapters for assessments.

       CHALLENGES FOR HOT POTATOES.
  1. Hot Potatoes assessment software looks complex at times and cannot be used simply.
  2. Hotpotatoes cannot accept images or downloaded photos easily as in  GoogleQuiz and Kahoot. 
  3. Hotpotatoes does not have drawing aid for upper forms' students presenting products ideas for their projects in design communication and/or design technology.
  4. More can be done in terms of enhanced imagings,graphics,themes and colours.

    Hotpotatoes has many options and at times,getting access to the different assessments is difficult and takes more time to process the You TUBE VIDEOS and to read the tutors' posted instructions .

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF USING GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

  GOOGLECLASSROOM     i s  a highly complete and  versatile  online evaluation resource to  post one's contents and to  access websites' link .It can also accommodate google forms' quizzes,  kahoot games ,quizizz and work in pair with  powerpoint slides .It is very straightforward, direct  and quite easy to use.However, googleclassroom has  limited graphics' themes for enhanced visual  impacts. Googleclassroom must accommodate more innovative methods of assessments and  evaluations. More colourful themes can be added. Sometimes, typing mismatches were noticed   when  changing  themes. Some point marks did not change during editings. Quizizz offers a variety of assessment questions(Multiple choice,true/false,matching,fill in the blanks,polls,open ended questions,etc.) c. Quizizz can share up date and interactive  meetings with parents so that the later knows about their      children's performances.  d. Quizizz can cover a number of chapters . CHALLENGES FOR QUIZIZZ : a. Quizizz is too simplistic in its layout and format. b. Quizizz offers little graphics images' presentations making it less prone for advance presentations. c.
