 IMPORTANCE OF BLOGS.

Blogs and Open Educational Resources (OERs) offer many advantages and challenges in modern teaching and learning.

Some of them are as follows:-

1. Advantages of Blogger.com & OERs. OERs such as blog Blogger.com can offer
innovative educational resources and aid.





b. OERs such as Blogger.com is easy to use and does not require hosting and domain.
Blogger.com is affordable and free to use without complexity.


c. OERs such as Blogger.com is very collaborative and interactive with colleagues through
words,texts,posts,images and downloaded photographs from photo galleries.



d. Blogger.com provides much facilities to provide additional resources for learning by
viewing online posts on the blog's website.

e. Blogger.com (OER) platform encourages engagements and provides relevant contents
and updated information for all categories of learners.


2. DISADVANTAGES OF BLOGGER.COM & OERs,

a. OERs and Blogger.com can discourage access to university/college/school librairies.
b. OERs can reduce developments of texts and course materials .
c. Full recognitions have not yet been achieved.Blogger is not oriented for social media( unlike
Tumblr.com),not suitable for web creations(unlike Joomla,Jimdo),not popular for sending
subscription letters to members (unlike Ghost.org). Blogger.com is not well adapted
for e-commerce ,gift cards,crafts and coupons (unlike Weebly) .Blogger.com is
also not apt for newspaper blog's articles (unlike Medium)-Some computer experts
stated that Blogger.com lacks the professional touch unlike that presented by
Linkedin.com.
d. Blogger.com does not have many interesting theme options as Wix and Wordpress.
e. Some learners don't have IT facilities to access OERS and blogs.

    Blogger is practical and easy to use. It accepts posts readily .However, colours , images and graphics can be added.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF USING GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

  GOOGLECLASSROOM     i s  a highly complete and  versatile  online evaluation resource to  post one's contents and to  access websites' link .It can also accommodate google forms' quizzes,  kahoot games ,quizizz and work in pair with  powerpoint slides .It is very straightforward, direct  and quite easy to use.However, googleclassroom has  limited graphics' themes for enhanced visual  impacts. Googleclassroom must accommodate more innovative methods of assessments and  evaluations. More colourful themes can be added. Sometimes, typing mismatches were noticed   when  changing  themes. Some point marks did not change during editings. 2 . QUIZIZZ ADVANTAGES  OF QUIZIZZ: a. Quizizz is simple,easy and straightforward to use. b. Quizizz offers a variety of assessment questions(Multiple choice,true/false,matching,fill in the blanks,polls,open ended questions,etc.) c. Quizizz can share up date and interactive  meetings with parents so that the later knows about their      children's performances.  d. Quizizz can cover a number of chapters . CHALLENGES FOR QUIZIZZ : a. Quizizz is too simplistic in its layout and format. b. Quizizz offers little graphics images' presentations making it less prone for advance presentations. c.
